The 60-Day Project LeaderĀ |Ā 1:1 Coaching Program
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 4, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between Shack Consulting LLC, a New York limited liability company ("Shack Consulting," "we," "us" or "our"), and the person who enrolls in The 60-Day Project Leader ("you" or "Client").
You accept these Terms when you check the box at checkout, complete your purchase, or take part in any session, whichever happens first. If you do not agree, do not purchase or take part in the Program.
You must be at least 18 years old to enroll.
If someone else pays for you. If an employer or other third party (the "Sponsor") pays your fee, these Terms still apply to you as the participant, and the Sponsor agrees to the payment and refund terms in Sections 4 and 5. The coaching relationship is with you. We do not report to a Sponsor on what you say in sessions or how you are doing unless you ask us to in writing. On request we will confirm to a Sponsor that you enrolled and which sessions were held.
2. The Program
The 60-Day Project Leader (the "Program") is one-on-one project leadership coaching built around a real project you are leading. It includes:
- Seven 45-minute one-on-one video sessions: one Kickoff Session and six coaching sessions, held about every 9 to 10 days
- Weekly 45-minute group office hours with other active clients
- Email access between sessions, with a response by the next business day
- Access to our template library and the companion workbook for the Program's core documents
- Written notes after each one-on-one session
- Review of and feedback on your project documents between sessions
- Access to a private online coaching portal for scheduling, resources and notes
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding United States federal holidays. Email access is for questions about your project and your Program work, in reasonable volume.
The session-by-session outline on our website describes the usual arc of the Program. We adapt the content and order of sessions to where your project stands, so the topics covered in your sessions may differ from the outline.
Group office hours are normally held weekly. We may cancel or move an office hours session from time to time, for example for holidays, illness or travel, and will give notice when we do. A missed or cancelled office hours session is not made up and does not entitle you to a refund.
3. What the Program does not include
- We do not do your project work for you. You prepare your own documents, and we coach, review and give feedback.
- We do not respond on the same day, on weekends or on holidays.
- We do not coach your team, attend your project meetings, or communicate with your stakeholders on your behalf.
- The Program ends as described in Section 8. Continued coaching after that is a separate purchase at the price then in effect.
One participant. Each enrollment covers one named participant. Only that person may attend one-on-one sessions and group office hours, use email access and submit documents for review. Colleagues, managers and other members of your organization may not attend or take part unless we agree in writing in advance.
Your project. Coaching, document review and feedback cover the project or projects that you personally lead. We do not review or advise on work that belongs to other members of your team or organization.
4. Fees and payment
The fee for the Program is the price shown at checkout when you purchase, in U.S. dollars, and is due in full at purchase. Your place in the Program is reserved once payment is received.
Payments are processed by third-party providers. If you use an installment or pay-later service such as Klarna, your payment schedule is governed by your agreement with that provider. We are treated as paid in full, and your obligations to that provider continue whether or not you complete the Program.
You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase, other than taxes on our income.
Chargebacks. If you have a concern about a charge, contact us first at coach@shackconsulting.co so we can resolve it. If you dispute a valid charge with your card issuer or payment provider instead of following the refund terms in Section 5, we may suspend your access to the Program while the dispute is open, and you remain responsible for the fee if the dispute is decided in our favor.
We may change the price of the Program at any time. A price change does not affect a purchase you have already made.
5. Kickoff Guarantee and refunds
Kickoff Guarantee. If, after your Kickoff Session, you decide the Program is not for you, we will refund your fee in full, no questions asked. To use the guarantee, email coach@shackconsulting.co within 3 business days after your Kickoff Session and before your next coaching session takes place.
Condition of the guarantee. The Kickoff Guarantee applies only if you submitted the completed Kickoff Questionnaire at least 48 hours before your Kickoff Session, as described in Section 9. If you attend your Kickoff Session without having done so, the guarantee does not apply and your fee is non-refundable.
Cancelling before Kickoff. You may also cancel for a full refund at any time before your Kickoff Session, provided you do so within 30 days of purchase.
No other refunds. Once the guarantee period has passed, all fees are non-refundable. This includes situations where you do not schedule or attend sessions, do not use office hours or email access, change jobs or roles, or your project is delayed, changed or cancelled. Section 7 describes the one-time pause that is available instead.
How refunds are paid. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, to whoever paid, within 10 business days. When a refund is issued, your access to the portal, templates, workbook and other Program materials ends, and your license to use them under Section 13 ends with it.
6. Scheduling, rescheduling and missed sessions
You schedule your one-on-one sessions through the coaching portal, based on the availability shown there. Sessions are held by video.
Your responsibility to schedule. The Program is designed to be completed in 60 days, which means a one-on-one session about every 9 to 10 days. It is your responsibility to book your sessions so that all seven take place within the time limits in Section 8. We recommend booking several sessions ahead. Sessions you have not held by the deadline in Section 8 expire.
If we cause a delay. If we cancel or reschedule a session and the new time falls after a deadline in Section 8, we will extend that deadline by the time needed to hold the session.
You may reschedule a session through the portal or by email with at least 24 hours' notice. A session counts as used, and will not be made up or refunded, if you:
- cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice,
- do not attend, or
- arrive more than 15 minutes late.
If you arrive late but within 15 minutes, the session still ends at its scheduled time.
No-shows. We will wait on the call for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you have not joined by then, we will leave the call, and the session counts as used whether or not you join later.
Your connection and setting. You are responsible for your own internet connection, device and a setting where you can speak freely. If a session cannot be held or is cut short because of a technical problem on your side, it counts as used. If the problem is on our side, we will reschedule it.
If we need to reschedule a session, we will give as much notice as we reasonably can and offer a new time. A session we reschedule is never counted as used and never costs you time.
7. Pausing the Program
After your Kickoff Session you may pause the Program once, for up to 30 consecutive days, by emailing coach@shackconsulting.co before the pause begins. During a pause, one-on-one sessions, office hours, email access and document review are all on hold, and the dates in Section 8 are extended by the length of the pause. To resume, email coach@shackconsulting.co when you are ready, and the pause ends on the date of that email. If we have not heard from you, the Program resumes automatically on the 30th day, and the time limits in Section 8 start running again whether or not you book sessions. Only one pause is available.
8. Program term and expiration
The Program runs for 60 days starting on the date of your Kickoff Session (the "Start Date").
Your Kickoff Session must take place within 30 days of purchase. If it does not, the Start Date is the 30th day after purchase, unless we agree to a different date in writing.
Office hours, email access and document review end 60 days after the Start Date. One-on-one sessions that have not been held within 75 days after the Start Date expire and are not refunded or credited. Both periods are extended by any pause taken under Section 7.
Access to the coaching portal ends 150 days after purchase. Download any templates, notes and materials you want to keep before then.
9. Your responsibilities
The Program works when you do the work between sessions. You agree to:
- complete and submit the Kickoff Questionnaire, found in your coaching portal, at least 48 hours before your Kickoff Session,
- schedule and attend your sessions on time and prepared,
- draft your own project documents and send them for review with enough time for us to read them before the next session,
- give us accurate information about your project, and
- make your own decisions about your project, your team and your organization.
Kickoff questionnaire. The Kickoff Session depends on the questionnaire. You agree to answer it completely and in enough detail for us to understand your project, your role and where things stand. If we have not received your completed questionnaire 48 hours before your Kickoff Session, we may move the session to a later time so that it is not spent gathering background. A Kickoff Session moved for this reason does not extend the 30-day deadline in Section 8.
You are responsible for having permission to share any information about your employer, clients or project that you bring into the Program. Do not share information you are legally or contractually barred from disclosing.
10. No guarantee of results
We will coach you with care and skill, and we stand behind the Kickoff Guarantee in Section 5. We do not promise any particular result. The outcome of your project, your performance reviews, promotions, compensation and career depend on your own effort and on factors neither of us controls, including your organization, your stakeholders, your budget and your timeline.
Examples, case studies and testimonials on our website describe individual experiences. They are not a promise that you will get the same result.
11. What coaching is and is not
Coaching is guidance and education based on our professional experience. You decide what to do with it.
We are not acting as your employee, your project manager, your agent or a consultant to your employer, and nothing in the Program creates a partnership, joint venture or fiduciary relationship. We are not engaged by your organization and take no responsibility for the delivery of your project.
The Program is not legal, financial, tax, accounting, human resources, medical or mental health advice. Templates and examples we provide, including any that touch on budgets, contracts or staffing, are general tools. Consult a qualified professional before relying on them for decisions in those areas.
12. Confidentiality
We keep what you share about yourself, your project and your organization confidential. We do not share it with anyone outside Shack Consulting. We do rely on third-party software to run the Program, including our coaching platform and our video conferencing, email, scheduling, payment and note-taking tools. Your session recordings, transcripts, notes and documents are stored and processed in those tools, which include AI tools that transcribe recordings and help draft your session notes. We use them only to deliver the Program to you. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to prevent serious harm to you or to someone else.
This obligation does not cover information that is already public, that we already knew, or that we receive lawfully from someone else. We may draw on general lessons from our coaching work in our teaching and writing, with all identifying details removed.
Coaching conversations are not legally privileged the way conversations with an attorney are.
You agree to keep confidential anything other clients share during group office hours.
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy at https://shackconsulting.co/privacy-policy/.
13. Our materials and your work
The templates, workbook, worksheets, frameworks, session content, portal content and other materials we provide (the "Materials") belong to Shack Consulting LLC and are protected by copyright and other laws.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Materials in your own work, including on projects at your current and future employers. You may fill in, adapt and share completed documents with your own project stakeholders as part of running your projects. You may also share the templates with colleagues inside your own organization for use on that organization's internal projects. The companion workbook, session content and portal content are for you alone.
You may not sell, publish or distribute the Materials, share your portal login, share the Materials with anyone outside your organization, or use the Materials to build or deliver a coaching, training or consulting product.
The project documents you create, and your own and your employer's information in them, belong to you or your employer. We claim no rights in them.
14. Recordings and notes
We record and transcribe one-on-one sessions by video and audio, including with automated note-taking tools, for the purpose of preparing your session notes and coaching you well. By accepting these Terms and enrolling, you acknowledge and consent to this recording and transcription. Recording is a standard part of how we deliver the Program, and every one-on-one session is recorded. Recordings and transcripts are confidential under Section 12 and are not shared or published. We keep them for as long as we reasonably need them to deliver the Program and maintain our records, and we may delete them at any time. We are not obliged to keep recordings or to provide copies.
You may not record sessions or office hours without our consent given in advance.
15. Testimonials and feedback
We will not use your name, employer, likeness or words in our marketing without your written permission. If you give us a testimonial, you grant us the right to use it, with your name and title as you approved them, on our website and in our marketing until you ask us in writing to stop. We may use feedback that does not identify you to improve the Program.
16. Portal access and conduct
Your portal login is for you alone. You are responsible for keeping it secure and for activity under your account. The portal is operated by a third-party platform, and we are not responsible for outages or errors on that platform.
In sessions, office hours and email, you agree to treat us and other clients with respect and not to harass anyone, promote your own products or services, or share other clients' information. We may end a session or remove you from office hours immediately if your conduct is abusive or disruptive, and a session ended for that reason counts as used.
No soliciting other clients. You may not use the Program, group office hours or the portal to market or sell any product, service or opportunity. You may not collect, copy or record other clients' names, email addresses, employers or other contact details, and you may not contact other clients to market, sell or recruit, during the Program or afterward for 12 months. Clients who choose to stay in touch with each other for ordinary professional networking are free to do so. A breach of this paragraph is grounds for ending your enrollment without refund under Section 17.
17. Ending the Program early
You may stop taking part at any time. Outside the refund terms in Section 5, stopping does not entitle you to a refund.
We may end your enrollment, without refund, if you breach these Terms, including by sharing the Materials or your login, abusive conduct, or a payment dispute raised in bad faith. We may choose to give you a warning and a chance to fix the problem first, but we are not required to.
If we are unable to deliver the rest of the Program for reasons on our side, such as extended illness, we will refund the portion of your fee that corresponds to the one-on-one sessions not yet held. That refund is your only remedy in that situation.
Sections 4, 5, 10 through 15 and 18 through 21 continue to apply after the Program ends.
18. Limits on our liability
The Program and the Materials are provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunities, project losses or employment consequences, however they arise, and
- our total liability for all claims connected to the Program is limited to the fees actually paid for your enrollment.
Some laws do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
19. Indemnification
You agree to cover our losses and reasonable legal costs from any claim by a third party, including your employer, that arises from your project decisions, your use of the Materials outside the license in Section 13, information you shared without the right to share it, or your breach of these Terms.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
If a dispute arises, each of us agrees to first describe it to the other in writing and to try in good faith for 30 days to resolve it. If that fails, any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York, and each of us consents to those courts. Either of us may instead use a small claims court that has jurisdiction.
Claims may be brought only on an individual basis and not as part of a class or representative action. Any claim must be filed within one year after it arose, unless the law requires a longer period.
21. General terms
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Program description and price shown at checkout and our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about the Program and replace any earlier statements. If the website and these Terms conflict, these Terms control.
Changes. We may update these Terms for future purchases. The version in effect on the date you purchased applies to your enrollment unless we both agree otherwise in writing.
Events outside our control. Neither of us is responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as illness, emergencies, natural events or widespread internet or platform outages. Affected sessions will be rescheduled.
Transfers. Your enrollment is personal to you and may not be transferred to another person without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Severability and waiver. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term on one occasion, we may still enforce it later.
Notices. We will send notices to the email address you gave at checkout. Send notices to us at coach@shackconsulting.co.
Electronic agreement and communications. Checking the box at checkout has the same effect as signing these Terms by hand. You agree that we may send agreements, notices and other communications to you electronically, and that they satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing.
